PhD in Pharmacy, University of Granada (Spain). Professor in the department of Social-Pharmacy, Faculty of Pharmacy, University of Lisbon (Portugal). Leader of research group of Pharmacoepidemiology and Social-Pharmacy of the Research Institute for Medicines (iMed.ULisboa). Vice-President of the European Society of Clinical Pharmacy (ESCP). Member of the Executive Council Pharmacy Practice Research SIG, of the International Federation of Pharmacists (FIP). Editor-in-Chief of Pharmacy Practice Journal.

Research areas: information for healthcare professionals, pharmaceutical clinical services, evidence synthesis,  epidemiologic and biostatistical methods.

 

Roberto Pontarolo

PhD in Sciences – Biochemistry, Federal University of Paraná (Brazil). Professor in the department of Pharmacy and coordinator of the Postgraduate Research Program in Pharmaceutical Care, Federal University of Paraná (Brazil). Leader of the research Center of Biopharmacy (CEB) and Group of Studies in Health-Technology Assessment (GEATS). Member of the advisor board of the Brazilian Regulatory Agency (ANVISA), of the Brazilian Network of Health-Technology Assessment (REBRATS) and of the National Institute of Science and Technology for Pharmaceutical Innovation (INCT-IF).

Research areas: bioanalytical method validation, characterization of pharmaceutical products and metabolites, health-technology assessment.
